At Yew Tree Collection, I wanted to do everything I can to enrich the lives not just of our customers in the way that I provide beautifully packaged and scented home fragrance, but also to enrich the lives of those who might need a little more help along the way.

Life in this crazy, modern world is hard enough for everyone. Facing it with physical, mental or health challenges can sometimes make it even harder. That's where I wanted my products to do not only good for you, but also for a variety of charities around the country.

A donation from each and every product will go straight to our chosen charities. 

One of the chosen charities is very close to home to Yew Tree Collection: The Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

I was diagnosed at 17 years old, which is unusual. I was the lucky one; my childhood was unaffected by the disease, which is genetic and affects over 11,000 people in the UK. Most people are diagnosed as babies or young children but nowadays, due to the advancement of medicine, people are being diagnosed later and later in life. 

Whilst my CF journey has been relatively trouble free (a few hospital admissions, a collapsed lung and many chest infections!), for so many around the UK, life is not so easy. Daily physio, medication and having to avoid others (especially those who have CF) is a daily occurrence. 

A few years ago, things changed. A new wonder drug, as I like to call it, came onto the scene and now thankfully for all of us who are taking the medication, CF is something we can live with for many years and isn't the life limiting disease it was of just a few years ago. I have lost two beautiful cousins to the disease so I know all too well the significance that this drug can bring to the lives of those take it.

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust, the UK's leading charity supporting people with Cystic Fibrosis, funds vital research, seeks to improve care and provide effective treatments for all.
